Position Overview:

This resource leads the Marketing Automation portions of larger, cross-cloud projects and/or owns the entire engagement in those instances where Marketing Cloud or Pardot are implemented in a standalone fashion. Key to this role is the ability to serve as a conduit between marketing Product Owners (who are often less technical that CRM Product Owners and/or client-side IT/IS resources) and the Silverline Marketing Automation development team. The ideal candidate has a mix of marketing, project management, business case/user story development and implementation experience, with an emphasis on requirements gathering and user story development.

Primary responsibilities include:

  • As a key contributor on a project team, guiding customers through the implementation of Marketing Automation solutions using Silverline's agile methodology
  • Conducting marketing business process review meetings and lead the evaluation of functional and technical requirements
  • Developing marketing automation-specific User Stories and lead use story refinement meetings to finalized acceptance criteria
  • Developing functional specifications and business architecture (in close collaboration with Marketing Technical Architect)
  • Developing Campaign Process Flows / Maps for key Journey Builder/Engagement Studio campaigns
  • Developing marketing automation-specific project plan/work breakdown structure components in collaboration with Engagement Manager
  • Serving as primary point of contact to the client's Product Owner for marketing automation and/or client marketing team
  • Iterate on solutions through a Build/Test/Review cycle with customer Product Owner
  • Offering high-level guidance on marketing best practices (in close collaboration with industry vertical experts) including guidance on IP warming and deliverability remediation
  • Negotiate solutions to complex scenarios with multiple parties and agendas
  • Develop and deliver end-user training with support from Marketing Technical architect
  • Coordinate and deliver User Acceptance Testing
  • Create client based training materials and deliver end-user training
  • Conduct regular account performance reviews on an ongoing basis (with those clients who have purchased this service)

In addition, the Marketing Automation Solution Architect may be required to perform the following in stand-alone Marketing Automation projects:

  • Overall responsibility for project success and customer success
  • Optimize plans and resources to deliver maximum value to clients
  • Develop and nurture trusted adviser relationships with clients
  • Collaborate with project, leadership and sales teams to bring thought leadership and the full force of Silverline to your engagements
  • Assist with Account Planning/Management and other pre-sales activities in new and existing logos
  • Lead project teams in development and execution of project plans including management of scope, schedule, budget and quality
  • Leverage Silverline Intellectual Property to drive customer value
  • Influence and coach customers throughout their Salesforce journey
  • Coach, mentor and develop junior resources
  • Make decisions that positively impact Customer, Departmental, and Individual metrics

Basic Requirements:

  • BA/BS degree or equivalent work experience. MBA is a plus
  • 5+ experience consulting with clients for Salesforce Marketing Cloud and/or Pardot platforms in senior technical or program management role. Experience with other Marketing Automation platforms a plus.
  • Strong Project Management and Facilitation Skills.
  • Understanding of Agile Best Practices
  • Understanding of Marketing Automation Best Practices
  • Familiarity with PMI processes and procedures

Desired Skills/Certifications:

  • Marketing Cloud and/or Pardot Certifications (Specialist or Consultant)
  • Salesforce Sales and Service Cloud Certifications a plus
  • Project Management Certification (PMP or similar)
  • Scrum Master Certification
  • Very strong customer facing skills
  • Knowledge of Financial Services, Health & LIfe Sciences Industry, or Emerging Markets, preferred
